Ideal Hotel Restoration

The Ideal Hotel Restoration Project, renovated a local San Diego cultural treasure into a multicultural peace practice center. Since its onset in 2007, this project has been a true community initiative with the collective effort of so many people.

Hundreds of volunteers painted, scraped, cleaned, built, sanded, contributed funds, cooked, and so much more. Together we raised over $250,000 dollars and put in over 40,000 hours of volunteer labor. Thank you to each and every volunteer, supporter and sponsor!

The Ideal Hotel reopened in June, 2008, and is the current home of Red Lotus Society.
